Introduction to Work Sprints! In-Person
Need to complete an onerous task? Does your to-do list seem to get longer by the day? Join us for an afternoon of work sprints.
Work sprints are timed sessions to complete a specific task. The idea is to eliminate distractions and achieve a state of focused concentration (flow) while doing your work. Knowing you are working with other people provides both gentle accountability and comradery (we are all in this together). For many, this is an excellent way to get work done.
The facilitators, Wilsinia Ocasio (Prattsburg Free Library Director) and Hope Decker (Wayland Free Library Director) will introduce the work sprint concept and lead participants through three (approximately 50 minute) work sprints. Bring all you need to get that tough-to-complete task done. A working webcam is particularly helpful in staying on task but not an absolute requirement.
This virtual workshop will be presented in ZOOM, provided by the Wayland Free Library. Registration is required.
