Trustee Duties & Responsibilities Workshop In-Person
Join us for this fundamental workshop that touches upon the Ten Responsibilities for Library Trustees as well as Duty of Care, Duty of Obedience and Duty of Loyalty. We will also touch upon board self-evaluations, and how trustees can work with their director to ensure effective and best practices. This workshop meets 1 hour of required trustee training proposed by the New York State Library and State Education Department, and may be credited towards your 2023 reporting year.
