Messages From Our Orbit: STLS Community Time Capsules - Our 2026 System Wide Event Online

Join us to learn about the 2026 System Wide Event - Messages From Our Orbit: STLS Community Time Capsules

Messages From Our Orbit is a promotional event that invites our participants to celebrate the past, present, and future amongst our communities. This is also a great event you can use to enhance your Summer Learning Program, as it can easily correlate with the CSLP theme Unearth A Story, and the nationwide America 250 celebration. Participants are invited to complete writing and drawing prompts, collect documents, and submit them to their library to be packed away in a community time capsule. Libraries will collect documents throughout the summer and send them to STLS to be inventoried, cataloged, registered with the International Time Capsule Society, and packed up before being sent back to libraries for display or storage. Join us to learn about program materials, community participation, and member library involvement!
