Creating Accessible Content Online In-Person
As libraries, we often consider accessibility from the physical perspective, and sometimes, we forget that the principles of accessibility and inclusion apply in digital spaces as well. For example, social media has the power to bring people together, but when we don’t use accessibility best practices, it also has the power to exclude. In this session, we will review best practices for making social media posts more inclusive, as well as best practices for adding accessible content to your library's website.
