Director Evaluations: A Workshop for Trustees & Directors In-Person
Annual director evaluations are a board responsibility. Trustees are responsible for evaluating their director objectively each year, and directors should want to be evaluated to receive constructive feedback and board appreciation. This workshop will discuss steps trustees and directors can take together to make certain evaluations are a postive and healthy process for all involved. It will also offer tools trustees can use with their directors, so the evaluation translates into improved organizational culture and quality service to patrons.
Library Trustee Learning Certified: This workshop meets New York State Legislated Library Trustee Training requirements, and counts as 1.0 credit hour towards annual library trustee training. Participants will be emailed a certificate upon completion for library record keeping.
