Spring CE In-Person
Join us for the 2023 Spring Continuing Education (CE) Day!
June 2019 was the last time our cooperative library system convened for an all day learning event. We are really looking forward to re-establishing this in-person CE on June 9, 2023. There will be 12 learning sessions geared towards library staff, directors, and trustees. Everyone in attendance will have a chance to learn through practical lessons and experiences, which are intended to strengthen our public librarian practices. Additionally, participants will have plenty of opportunities to network and connect with their library system colleagues.
This day of learning is free of charge. Breakfast refreshments will be provided to participants upon arrival, and a full lunch buffet will be available between 11:45 am - 12:50 pm. The Spring CE will happen at Arthur A. Houghton Jr. Library at Corning Community College. We are grateful to Chemung County Library District for co-sponsoring this event. 2015 was the first year STLS and CCLD spearheaded the Spring CE, and we had a wonderful 5-year run until the pandemic. Let's get back to celebrating our work by learning and growing with each other.
